congratulatory message to US President Donald Trump on the occasion
of US Independence Day. Today, July 4, 2020.
"On the occasion of the National Day of the United States of
America, on behalf of the Polish Nation and my own, I would like to
congratulate you and wish you the best of luck and prosperity for
the entire American Nation," wrote the Polish president in a message
addressed to the American leader on US Independence Day.
The content of the message was published by the Chancellery of the
President of the Republic of Poland on the website. "Poland and the
United States are united by ties of centuries of friendship and
brotherhood, which have become even more intense over the past four
years. The content and intense calendar of our meetings have
confirmed this," stressed the Polish president. He added that every
conversation between him and President Trump brought measurable
benefits to Poland and the US, sealing the strategic partnership
binding both countries.
"Mr. President, this year is a special year also due to the ongoing
election cycle in Poland and the United States. I wish you
perseverance in conducting a difficult and by all means unusual
presidential campaign," wrote Duda. He expressed the conviction that
both our countries will continue to deepen strategic partnership and
bilateral relations. "Please accept, Mr. President, once again the
